Marriage in the Quran

Garments for one another
هُنَّ لِبَاسٌ لَّـكُمۡ وَاَنۡـتُمۡ لِبَاسٌ لَّهُنَّ

Among the signs of Allah
Tranquillity, affection, and mercy
In the Quran, Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَىٰ names the creation of spouses among His signs, so that they may find tranquillity in one another, with affection and mercy placed between them.
وَمِنۡ اٰيٰتِهٖۤ اَنۡ خَلَقَ لَكُمۡ مِّنۡ اَنۡفُسِكُمۡ اَزۡوَاجًا لِّتَسۡكُنُوۡۤا اِلَيۡهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيۡنَكُمۡ مَّوَدَّةً وَّرَحۡمَةً ؕ اِنَّ فِىۡ ذٰ لِكَ لَاٰيٰتٍ لِّقَوۡمٍ يَّتَفَكَّرُوۡنَ
Ar-Rum 30:21Interpretation
Allah created spouses so that they may find tranquillity in one another, and He placed affection and mercy between them.
