1. About These Terms

These Terms of Service apply when you access or use the Rishta Yaqeen public website, account, matchmaking application, or matchmaking service, or communicate with Rishta Yaqeen in connection with the service.

By using the service, you agree to follow these Terms of Service.

2. Respectful Conduct

Rishta Yaqeen expects candidates and anyone communicating on their behalf to treat our team, other candidates, and others involved in the matchmaking process respectfully.

Abusive, insulting, threatening, harassing, obscene, or repeatedly disrespectful language or behaviour is not accepted.

This applies to communication through the Rishta Yaqeen application, WhatsApp, phone, email, social media, and any other communication channel used in connection with our service.

3. Candidate Responsibilities

Candidates are responsible for providing information that is accurate, honest, and complete to the best of their knowledge.

Rishta Yaqeen relies on the information provided by candidates when assessing potential matches. Candidates should therefore complete their application carefully and tell us about preferences or requirements that are important to them.

Some questions and fields are optional. If a candidate chooses not to provide information about a particular preference or requirement, Rishta Yaqeen may treat that as meaning that no specific preference or requirement has been stated on that point. We cannot take into account requirements that have not been communicated to us.

If information provided in an application later becomes materially inaccurate or circumstances change in a way that may affect matchmaking, the candidate should update the information or inform Rishta Yaqeen.

4. Fees and Payments

Creating a Rishta Yaqeen account, completing the matchmaking application, and providing your information is free.

When Rishta Yaqeen identifies a potential match, relevant initial information may be presented to both candidates so that each candidate can decide whether they would like to proceed.

If both sides indicate that they would like to proceed with the match, the matchmaking service becomes a paid service.

Matchmaking fees start from PKR 2,000.

Rishta Yaqeen does not apply one fixed fee to every candidate. The applicable fee may vary depending on the individual circumstances and the service involved, including, where appropriate, a candidate’s financial circumstances. Different candidates may therefore be quoted different fees.

The applicable fee will be communicated to the candidate before payment is required. A candidate is free not to proceed with the paid matchmaking service if they do not wish to accept the quoted fee.

Once a candidate has agreed to proceed with a proposed match and the applicable matchmaking fee has been paid, the fee is not refundable merely because the candidate later changes their mind, decides that they are no longer interested in the proposed match, or chooses not to continue after receiving further information.

The matchmaking fee relates to the matchmaking work and introduction provided by Rishta Yaqeen. It does not guarantee that either candidate will continue with the match or that the match will lead to communication, engagement, nikah, marriage, or any particular outcome.

Nothing in these Terms limits any refund or other right that must be provided under applicable law.

5. Suspension or Termination

Rishta Yaqeen may restrict, suspend, or end access to the service where a person breaches these Terms of Service or where action is reasonably necessary to protect candidates, team members, others involved in the matchmaking process, or the service.

Where appropriate, we may first warn the person or ask them to stop the behaviour. Serious misconduct may result in immediate suspension or termination without a prior warning.

Anyone whose access has been suspended or terminated must not attempt to bypass that decision by creating another account or using another person to contact Rishta Yaqeen on their behalf.

Suspension or termination does not automatically determine how personal information is retained or deleted. Information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. To request deletion of an account and personal information, contact salam@rishtayaqeen.com.

6. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service when the service, its rules, or applicable obligations change. The current version and its last-updated date will be published on this page.
